Working within the design team at Porto Rocha, I had the opportunity to participate in a rebranding project for Zigzag, one of South Korea's largest shopping apps, targeted towards Gen Z. Our challenge was to elevate the brand identity beyond fashion and transform it into a comprehensive lifestyle platform. To accomplish this, we introduced the concept of an editorial magazine. The rebranding journey began with the creation of a fresh wordmark, drawing inspiration from bold and condensed logos found in fashion magazines. We also introduced clean sans-serif typography, facilitating clear communication across different languages. Additionally, we developed a new photography system that seamlessly blends editorial and user-generated content for fashion mood boards, and we enhanced social engagement through custom 3D stickers.
